With an early morning arrival - the body wants to sleep. DON'T GIVE IN!
I made a reservation at the Vatican Museum for noon which gave me plenty of time beforehand to follow my agenda:

A Walk Around Rome
This is my second tip to Rome and my to do list encompassed seeing as many fountains I could, climb the Spanish Steps and toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain. The legend is if you make a wish and toss a coin, you will return. It worked once before, I'm willing to try again.
